You might have read my earlier blog about Joe Williams coming to Fayetteville, NC Thursday to do a free seminar. That is how I started out my day. My day was going very good and I was really enjoying my socializing and learning experience.
Little did I know that a past associate of a company that I was associated with and a friend was having a completely different destiny.
This young man was a father and soon to be a father again. In a split second...he was gone. The Lord called him home...Goodbye Shawn....I will see you again one day soon...

Posted: Jun. 7, 2007
Fayetteville - One man was killed Thursday in a three-car wreck on Ramsey Street in front of the Veterans Administration hospital, police said.
A Nissan Pathfinder crossed the center line at about 11:15 a.m. and collided head-on with a Ford Escort, killing the driver of the Escort, Shawn T. Chance, 25, of 1644 Kara Court, police said.
A Chevrolet Corsica collided with the Escort after the Pathfinder hit it, police said.
The driver of the Pathfinder, Matthew Desessa, 20, of 1118 W. Rowan St., Apt. B, and the driver of the Corsica, Kimberly Watkins, 42, of 636 Tokay Drive, were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
Southbound and northbound lanes of Ramsey Street were closed near the intersection with Cochran Avenue while police investigated the wreck.
No charges have been filed in the case, which remains under investigation.
How very sad, I just lost a client about the same age over memorial day weekend. My thoughts and prayers are with this family and friends at their time of loss.
