13 Comments on Buying Your First Place: Where Do You Start? Part 1 Of A Series
Do I have credit, what are debt ratios, how stable is my job, are mom and dad helping me get a leg up too in addition to all the programs, rebates, stimulus features to tap into, etc. Good post that needs repeating to the new crop of folks that need homes, land, farms, any kind of real estate.
Pat We are riting on the same subject - I plan to follow yours which is very authorative Karen
Andrew, I think a lot of the series are going to have sort of universal qualitities.
And Karen, I'll be reading yours, too!
Pat,
One thing they need to remember is that, even though they are buying the place, they need to have a few dollars left over for some repairs -- unless it is brand new. Then they often need to have some dollars saved for the yard and landscaping. It drives me nuts when I see people buy and, when they are done, they have no dollars for upkeep at all.
Pat, great first installment for your series. I am enjoying seeing what everyone is choosing to write about (while I still am figuring out my topic).
Steven, I'll get to it! About Chapter 3 or 4
And Ann, it'll be fun to see all of the different topics!
Pat: First time home buyers will really appreciate this series. There is so much to think about when buying your first home, but by the time you are done I am sure your readers will be lined up to work with you because you know how to make the process easy and enjoyable.

This is great information. Are you using other media to get it out to the public. Denny Andrews has a great E-book "Master Your Internet Presence E-Book" which can be found on his blog
