In this example I wanted to show Realtors and home owners what can be accomplished with Home Staging when you have a detailed plan to prepare a home for sale. There is so much to think about when you list your home. It can be overwhelming trying to decide what to do first.Whether you are short on time or ideas calling in Advantage Staging is the first step in getting a plan together to move forward.

Whether you need painters, moving boxes, window cleaning services or just a calm voice in the whirlwind of activity Advantage Staging will guide you in the right direction in a clear and concise way to get you ready for listing photos and open houses.

After the home owner completed the decluttering process all I did was...

provide 4 lamps,1 duvet set and two pictures.

Everything else the home owner already had in the house.I returned for a follow up visit to make sure everything was in place for the listing photos and the agent open house.

This house at 53 Woodlands Heights in Everett now shows how a family can live and entertain in the country with style and elegance. And who wouldn't love that?

For an investment of $500, now this house says "buy me"  and "move in ready".

Investment, minimal.

Impact, priceless.

A bargain compared to the finished product!  It's sad that some people would rather not invest a miniscule amount, but then after weeks on the market, are forced to reduce the list price by THOUSANDS!

Looks great, Michelle!  We have an Everett in Washington state, too.

Michelle... this is great. We all need to stay in there and continue to promote our services. Nothing will change over night.

Don't you just love when the client does everything you ask.  It makes such a big difference and is so helpful to them to have a report to follow.  Good job.

Hi Nunzio, as you say communication is key to bring a staging project together, especially when the deadline is two days away and stress levels are high. My clients were absolutely on board with the idea of preparing their home for sale, listened carefully, asked questions, called for clarification on a couple of things and the results speak or themselves.

Hi Jane Anne, it is still puzzling to me that agents or home owners resist the idea of having a home staging consultation to get a plan to prepare their home for sale. I recently suggested to a senior client that they paint their wood panelling in the very large basement. When the paint job was completed the client commented that he now sees the value in home staging. The basement looks twice as large, modern and said he couldn't believe how good it looked. Another staging success story!

Hi Diana, our Everett is a tiny village with a short main street and then a few large estate subdivisions with very large custom houses. It is set in the midst of farm fields and foresets. Very lovely area.

Close to Earl Rowe Provincial Park for camping and day trips.  Thanks for stopping in to see this transformation.

Hi Lori, absolutely right. We have to continue to educate agents and home owners what can be accomomplished  with a little investment and a little time. Their home is generally their largest investment. It seems short sighted to leave their equity behined due to lack of planning.

Hi Chrissie, I have the best clients for sure. I have had ladies in their 70's be so motivated while I am there that they start moving artwork and furniture right then and there. I do have a gift when it comes to motivating vendors to make changes.I believe passionately about what I am doing and the client can't wait to get started. When the client completes the work themselves, I offer a service to return the day of listing photos to make sure that everything is in place, curtain rods are set properly, lampshades are straight, tissue boxes are put away etc.

Gosh, the end result is just dynamite!  You must be a terrific teacher and coach - kudos, indeed.

Love the simplicity of the dining room; simplicity and yet not barren and cold at all.  Lovely Michelle.

Michelle ~ very nice presentation of this home ... isn't it rewarding to have clients that are motivated?  It makes us realize how valuable our services are.  Keep up the great work.

Hi Virginia, absolutely. When there is a budget given to you then it is up to you to come up with a plan. With this plan everyone was ecstatic with the results. Thanks for stopping in to see my plan come to life.

Hi Juliet, thanks for the accolades. I appreciate your comments as I know you have very high standards in your business.

Hi Maureen, so true. With the right clients, you can provide a plan and see it come through to fruition with excellent results. There are times when you know that it is beyond the scope of what a client can handle and that is when I call in the staging team to help get the job done on time and on budget.

The first buyer through, came back for a second viewing and we are waiting to hear if an offer is forthcoming. Fantastic results thanks to a good plan and the hard work of my clients.
