Reno Nevada Market Report for July 2009

Here are the market statistics for single family homes in the Reno, Nevada area for July 2009:

July ended the month with 307 single family homes SOLD.

There were 180 single family homes in escrow by the end of July 2009 in Reno, Nevada.

Of the homes sold during July, 21 were short sale and 40 were bank owned.

The average list price of a single family home for the month of July was $249,000.

The average sold price of a single family home was $187,000.

Average days on the market for a single family home during the month of July was 138 days.

Existing homes sales in Reno, Nevada continue to post positive gains but the average price of homes sold are dropping as foreclosures maintain a strong influence on the market.
