Calvert MD real estate statistics from MRIS* were just released on August 10, 2009 for July home sales in our service area for homes in Calvert County MD. I will be breaking down some of the numbers in the next week or so. Though Calvert MD real estate prices are still declining for the average home seller (Average Sold Price is down almost 10%), it is interesting to look at some of the trends taking place. Calvert real estate sales for homes dropped 4.55% over last year. Inventory is actually a lot less, and I wish prices were still not dropping almost 10% YTD. However, compared to the rest of the nation prices are not in free fall. There has been improvement on our market. You can tell this by looking at the decline on the days on market and the rising of the List Price / Sales Price Ratio rose to 92.45%. These are very positive indicators for Calvert MD real estate as a whole.
