A Thoughtfully Creative Excercise

By
Industry Observer

Mainstream institutions condition us not to think, but instead to react to their racial, political, religious commentaries that trigger emotional response and divide us ideologically along racial, political, religious lines. Arguments along these lines hide truly relevant issues with less critical situations that exist inside the mainstream realm of divisive ideologies. Outside this emotionally manipulative mainstream realm are raw data, forensic evidence and documented historical facts that comprise the free realm of objectively analytical thinkers resistant to mainstream emotional manipulation for the sake of truth.

Mainstream propaganda affects thoughts and behaviors of the masses with situational reports prioritized according to their emotional appeal or distractive effect. Belief is our choice based on racial, political and religious experience combined with all other information we accept as reality. Consequently, it takes an extraordinary effort to question the status quo, defy our information paradigms and search for truth. Mainstream institutions consider such activity not "normal" and discourage all efforts that degrade their power to affect what we believe or how we behave.

Think about why we believe as we do, regardless of what our beliefs might be. This can become your powerful new interest, the wonderful art of objective, analytically critical thinking toward any creative pursuit. Energize objective, analytical, critically creative thought by demonstrating sincere respect for the interests of other people, and you will radically improve our entire world.

Tony: Everything we hear and see influences what we do. Those who go further in their education are usually taught the importance of questioning and/or using the Socratic method to arrive at the truth in all aspects of their lives. Unfortunately, not everyone gets that far.

Tony - I really didn't learn to apply critical thinking until I got into the high tech business world. I quickly learned to look at things from all directions. Especially at the last major corporation that I worked for where virtually everything was peer reviewed before implemented or released.

Hi Tony:

You make a lot of sense here...

Great advice, something to think about!

Melissa: Everything will influence us only if we "allow" it to do so!

Mike: I hope you are still using your critical thinking today.  In fact I know you are based on some of your comments you leave in other blogs.

Toula: I probably don't make sense to everyone but thank you!

Unfortunately, there are sooooooooooooo many out there who only will think with their emotions.  I think that the critical thinking can invoke your emotions, but you can't let your emotions drive your thinking.  It took me a while to mature enough until I had them in the right order.  When you're in college, generally you're more emotional.  As you protect your family, you become smarter and take the emotion out of most of your big decision.  Good post dude.

Kristin:  I'm glad to know that.

Larry:  That's true!  I used to think with my emotions on everything.  It wreaks havoc long term.  Thank you!
