Debbie it has been probably about 25 years since we had a really big tornado here in Connecticut, but I still remember it like it was today.

I wish I had great pictures of it like you of yours.

Debbie

I remember reading about this when it happened. The strength of Mother Nature was prevalent that day.

George,

I have lived here now some 20 years, I don't ever remember anything more than a dust devil.

Tom,

I was heading downtown to the convention when it hit, my daughter was heading there with her grandma that was going to work at the convention. We were very lucky.

I remember that and has it been 10 years already, YIKES!  Last year something resembling a tornado went through downtown Omaha.  My husband and I were at his dad's on a few miles away and I got some great pictures.  They never called it a "tornado".  What do you think?

That was right before it "touched down".  Sounded like someone was claking the silverware drawer in the kitchen.  Hit the Qwest center where the Olympic swim trials were held!

Wow Renee, it looks pretty ominous to me, I lived in Omaha  for a year, actually in Bellevue, when I was in Jr. High.  I remember all the Tornado's then.

Great Picture, you probably only get Dust Devils in Vegas.

Yes that's what we get here.  A thunderstorm every now and then but nothing as violent as the midwest!

Sweet that you lived in Bellevue!
