North Columbus has hundreds of restaurant franchise locations! There are dozens of local restaurants, with specialty menus, many featuring southern cooking, barbecue, chicken and fish. With all the choices available in North Columbus, let me remind you of a very enjoyable restaurant on the South Side. The Orient Express Restaurant is located just east of the intersection of Benning Road and Victory Drive. The cuisine is Korean and a favorite place for many of our troops at Fort Benning to stop in for lunch. One of my favorite items on the menu is Pork Bulgoki, lunch is served with soup and side dishes, including; kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers, egg rolls and rice. The food is delicious and a wonderful change from every day staples.
