The Mustang Water Slides and Lopez Lake Recreation Area in Arroyo Grande California
Set in the oaks covered hills of Los Padres National Forest,

is an enjoyable spot for fishing, boating, windsurfing, jet skiing, camping, hiking, barbeques and of course the Mustang Water Slides. There is a marina with launch ramp, food store, tackle shop, and boat rentals operating year round. Arroyo Grande and the Central Coast offers temperate climate year round and makes Lopez Lake a great place to camp or park your RV if you are exploring the other great activities on the Central Coast.
The Mustang Water Slides are at the heart of Lopez Lake. As a child I can remember the exhilaration of going down the two water slides at the park over the years, but now they have added a giant kiddies section with pools, fountains and slides but also a 38 foot drop half pipe for older adventurers.
At the park there is a food court with snack bar, locker room, showers, hot tubs and changing areas. Life jackets are also available for free use and life guards monitor the slides, pools and Stampede. The new 38 foot Stampede at the Mustang Water Slides can be ridden solo, double, or triple. The more you get on the sled the higher you will go and the bigger the wave will be at the bottom of the half pipe.
