Michael,
I downloaded Firefox and I am in the process of writing my next blog in color. Thank you so much for posting this great information.
Brilliant series by the way :)
Sharon
I feel so bland, Michael! At least the Bookmark icon turned red for me...
Michael - If I'm not careful, my husband is going to get jealous about all the attention I am paying to your posts. ;-) Seriously though, thanks because this is so helpful... and I always enjoy your photos.
p.s.: I have fallen off a log, it is not fun.
Yep. Easy as pie. I did my last post right in the Scribefire editor, changed the font and color, copied and pasted. Presto! The only thing I don't like though is the limited font selection. Is there some way that we can get that upgraded?
Okay, Ambassador Loreena Yeo sent me your link after I asked on her post how in the world can I play with my text. I will bookmark and try this now. Wish me luck.
I'll try this again later. I downloaded Firefox but my computer can't read the ScribeFire. It will save it to a file but it won't download it. Oh well...
I loaded ScribeFire from the FireFox add-ons section and this time it downloaded quick and easy. yeah! I have color. I have text sizes. I have fun. I have images quickly from Flickr. This is great. THANKS.
i can do this...this is me giving myself a hand. ha!
Thanks Michael, I have downloaded and look forward to playing with it and doing great colorful and fun post! I have been wondering how to do this for a while and just haven't taken the time to try and figure it out.
Hi Michael, this is great. Thank you for sharing, I have been looking for an easier solution than html for a quite some time.
Hi Michael:
I put color in my first post today. Thanks for telling us how to do it. Your tutorial was easy to follow.
I will try your instructions tomorrow. I have been frustrated with the limited editing tools, so I'm excited to have this tutorial!
I kept wondering how some bloggers colored their text...this will be fun, but, along with some of the other commenters, I hope it doesn't get so wild that it becomes distracting to read---and become more like the experience of reading advertisements. I do think there is something very elementary about uniformity in a blog roll, and the ability to comprehend what we are reading (the same as being distracted by pop-ups while reading something on the computer screen). It will be fun to do some personalizing, and I'm looking forward to that. Thanks for sharing this!
Michael, I always love learning new ways to KISS...this is definitely an easy way to transport my text onto my blogs as well as commenting. So simple. Blogs, such as your's, are always a welcome addition to the volumes of info on AR. Thanks again,
Michael - Only one question from me... I have done everything that you have said. I noticed that A/R is not recognized as a blog platform on Scribefire. Is there something I'm missing here when I try to put my A/R post into the Account Wizard? Just curious. thanks
Michael, I've been using Scribefire for quite some time now - I think I even have a blog in draft somewhere about it.. Love Love Love the things you can do with color and sizing! Now here's a shortcut tip - just hit F8 and it opens the editor so that you can start typing away...
Lee and Pamela.....great tip. I just tried the F8 tip...and it works. I have to copy and paste from Scribefire.....it doesn't populate directly into my AR blogs...but neither does kompozer, etc.
Installed and in use, what a need little tool. Thank you!
Hi there! Your post was rebloged by Mary Yonkers. I read it and did My First "Colored" Post! Will you come check it out? Thanks!
Diane
hey it actually works wow thank you!
I am so happy I found htis post because I have been trying to figure out how to add color to my posts. Katerina has mentioned the GMail editor, but it doesn't seem to work for a PC. Thanks for the info. I can't wait to try it out.
