(Sung) "Are You Going To San Francisco"... (Shouted!) I Am! I Am!

Hi All,

After last night's fabulous AR Birthday party here in Los Angeles (actually in Long Beach :-), I got to thinking that with Inman Blogger's Connectless than two months away it might be fun to see who is planning on being there. I am hoping that all of the Project Blogger apprentice's and their coaches will be making the trek.

I know that I will be there with bell's on and my wonderful coach Drew Meyer's will be there as well. I will be attending the event solo as My Mel won't be able to get the time off of work :-( (But, hopefully by then I will have made my first closing and he will be so busy playing with the new Icom 746 Pro radio that he has been promised when I get my first commission check, he probably won't even realize that I am gone.) Actually Drew will be part of a panel discussion with ARDELL and Marlow Harris so the conversation should be exciting, interesting and very informative.

So, I am putting out the welcome mat, throwing this up the flag pole and seeing who salutes and just plain asking "Are You Going To San Francisco?" Let me know, I want to start studying the pictures so that I will recognize you all.

Gee, if I weren't so busy with real estate and blogging ( mostly blogging, lol) I would love to be there. If Ardell is on the panel, it would make it all worthwhile. She is really good at this blooging stuff, as are you from of the posts I have read. Next year-you get on the panel. Seems only right! Then I will be there for sure. All the best and have a great trip.

AHHHHHH....you're killing me. I sure want to be there. I'm sure trying to be there. I'm afraid if I don't go you'll make a little photo paddle with my face (like TLW & Broker Bryant at the Lighthouse last night) and it'll end up with an even better goatee or handlebar mustache. That alone is motivating!

Kelly - Gotee nothing, I am thinking I will hit you where it would REALLY hurt I'll draw on hips that even Lane Bryant won't be able to cover! Let me know what I can do to help if anything. I really want you to be there :-)

I just happened across this post and thought I would stop by and subscribe to your Blog. I really do love the way you write :-)

I was also kind of hoping that perhaps I could learn how to bake if I hang out with you. LOL.

Okay. Now as far as Blogger's Connect goes...We can't make it ...

But...We are thinking about having a few tee shirts made for some of our friends to wear :-)

Oh. Before I forget...Do you know who drew on us at the party last night? I am standing by with my "paint" to get even...Oh. NO. Not get even. That was a typo. I just want to have a little fun with my paint brush. Yah. Okay. Let's go with that. LOL.

I am totally bummed to hear that you won't be able to be there ;-( I am THRIaLLED to hear that I have added you as a subscriber, high praise indeed.

And as far as the "artwork" was concerned, I am afraid that I only know who two of the culprits were for sure: Alcohol and Sharpie :-)

Oh and if you send me a shirt I would wear it proudly and I promise any photos on it would be safe. The only person allowed to draw on my chest is my hubby and he has to stay home so...

And I will happy to give virtual baking lessons. Until I get my dream house which I always describe as a kitchen with a house attached, there is barely room enough in the one I use now to fit in me, my pots and pans and a laptop.

Hey Tisza - yes, I'll be there. Can't wait! If you want to stop for a night in Los Gatos on the way up, just let me know - we have room! (You too, Kelly, if you can swing it. I know you have some major committments at that time too.)

Tisza, you can give the seat in the Prius to another worthy pilgrim. I plan to hop on the first flight out of LAX on the morning of August 1 -- and return that same evening. A classic DAY-TRIPPER.

Teri - OK, just tell me how big a miracle I need to be pulling for so that you can come. Are we looking for something small like the closest parking space at the mall during the Nordy's Women's & Children's sale or something larger like the Red Sox winning the pennant.

Tisza, sounds like you all had a great time in Long Beach...and it will be just as much fun in San Francisco! Wish I could of been/could be there! My daughter is getting married this year and any extra money we have has to go to that...no vacations for us this year.

Tisza- You are kind, smart, lovely, a talented blogger, a cake-baker extraordinaire, that's quickly off the top of my head...Now you are telling me you pull miracles? Hmm...I'm trying to be surprised to hear this- but I'm not!! ;-D

It's juggling everything going on in my life to squeeze in the trip, and remember I'm in Ohio, so it's a wee bit more than a day trip or a quick over nighter.

Teri that is a bummer. I SO want to meet you. Hopefully at some future event - NAR or CRS or something... (the CRS event, Sellabration, is always worthwhile - that goes for ALL of ya's). Our vacations are usually organized around relatives (Jim's family is near DC, I have tons of family in Massachusettes) but once in awhile we go elsewhere - however, Dayton is not on the list :( We'll have to figure something out.....

Boy am I late in responding to this one, I appologize to everyone for the delay :-)

Mary - I am sorry that you will not be there this year, perhaps we will meet next year after your daughter is all married up - congrats on that by the way, I hope she will be as happy as I have been (and that is pretty happy :-)

Teri - How is that juggling act coming? I am still holding hope that you will be able to be there. I am sure that Inman will be fun, but I am also quite sure that if you are there the fun will be magnified.

Mary - Good to know about the CRS, I am still planning on crashing on your couch if that is still OK.

Looking forward to meeting you. Drew has been talking you up around the office!

I will be there and on two panels. Had our first informational call this morning. Learned not to wear a short skirt, as the audience will be looking up my dress. LOL! Good thing to know. It's pants for panelists...though Teresa Boardman said she already had a suit picked out.

Hi All,

Sara - I am looking forward to meeting you folks as well and I am especially looking forward to meeting Drew. I still can't believe that when I woke up on March 30th I had no idea how much my life would be changing in less than 24 hours. Amazing!

ARDELL - I am not sure exactly when I am arriving yet, or for that matter exactly when I am departing. I will be hanging out with Mary Pope-Handy and am getting a chance to see Los Gatos from the best tour guide that city could have. I will let you know the when's and where's as soon as I have them. I am dying to meet everyone in the flesh. Mary and I have talked about trying to squeeze in some sightseeing as well, so I will let you know about that as well.

I am truly counting the days!
