The sun did set this cloudy evening at Bayport, Florida as heavy storm clouds took on ever changing shades of orange and greys as the hidden sun dipped into the sea.

Thank you everyone for commenting. It's one of our favorite places to watch the sunset except that evening this is what we got. As we were leaving, the wind started to pick up and there was some mist of rain in the air that was later followed by heavy rain. You never know what Mother Nature has in store!

Hey, Silvia - Too bad you couldn't get some pictures of the sun dipping into the sea. I've always wondered if the sun would go out if it dipped into the sea, and I wonder if AP would pay you a big sum for such a picture. Sorry. Just couldn't resist.
