Hello folks,

I stumbled across a sea critter tonight on the beach which I had never seen before. What was odd is that in all the years I've been walking the beach (15+ years), I've never seen these critters before and tonight, I must have seen 20 to 30 of them. Quite odd.....

This little guy was about three inches long and found in the shallow water (only a few inches deep). At first I thought it was some type of plant growth until I realized it was moving across the bottom on the sand.

Here are some pics of the sunset from tonight also...

Hope you have enjoyed the photos.

Have no answer on the "critter" - I took walk the beach on the Atlantic coast a bit north of you in North Carolina. I am going look to see if the hurricane winds send your critters in my direction.

Hey Vickie, I believe it is a sea slug. They were VERY creepy looking in the water, especialy when I saw them moving around.
