This Saturday, August 22nd, the city Cary will host one of North Carolina's top ranked festivals, the 33rd Annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival.
From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., the streets will be jam packed with arts and crafts created by nearly 400 artists from across the country. There will also be food and entertainment for the young and old alike.
Festival coordinator, Joy Ennis invites everyone to stop on by. “Everyone is invited to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind opportunity to not only purchase fine arts, but also to meet the artists. Every year, Lazy Daze gets bigger and better, attracting more than 50,000 festival goers in 2008."
There will be 3 stages featuring live music and dance. Magic shows, clowns and more will keep you entertained as you walk the streets of Cary this Saturday. Children will enjoy Kid's World, where they can make their very own crafts in a replica town that's just their size!
While the forecast is calling for sunny skies, in case of inclement weather, Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival will take place on August 23 from 1-7 p.m.
Free shuttles will be running every 15 minutes from the Sears parking lot at the Cary Towne Center Mall.
