I see a lot of agents here that do their own SEO marketing.  I am reading also a lot that seem to do some and outsource others.  I am working with a Superlative Template site that I am taking a lot of time to customize - www.stefanwest.com.  I am in the midst of learning a lot on SEO and working on several decisions.

What would your advice be? Ideally, I would like to learn it so I can deal with it on my own and fully understand my site and its placement.  However, I am just not sure how much time that takes at this point.  I am in a very competitive area is So. Calif and like to think I am more tech savvy then most agents.

I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.  Right now I feel like I am in an ocean of SEO and trying to decide which way to swim.  Ultimately, I want to get a strong percentage of my new clients from my website.  I have in the past but it is time to push it to the next level.

Thanks for taking your time and help me out.

Stefan

Stefan...

This question really depends on how much time you have and the finances involved.

Personally I would hire someone if I had no idea what I was doing and needed the job done quickly.

There have been many posts written about SEO if that will help you. Just use the AR search button...

Search "Blogs" then enter "SEO". Good luck :)

Thanks for your comment.  I am figuring it all out but it just seems so conflicting.  I find one method and then another credible post directly arguing against that approach.  It is driving me nuts.
