Several strategies come into play when house hunting. Most buyers start looking on the internet with Search Home tools on websites. This article will show you the ins and outs and the insider industry secrets to home search web pages.
One of the more "advanced" Internet Technology is utilizing an Interactive Map Search tool on real estate websites. Real estate is about location, location, location. Location comes with a price. Make sure your preferred areas fall within your budget. (MOST IMPORTANT).
Most buyers define their boundaries in which they want to live. Not too far east, not too far north, I'd like to stay within xxxxx. Once the property boundaries are selected, buyers can use the Interactive Map Search tool to determine other homes for sale in the neighborhood and also other businesses and locations in relation to the subject property. Google Maps is also another good tool for home buyers. Google have satellite view and street view which most buyers find very helpful. If there are some things that bother you about the property from the exterior, a simple check with the satellite or street views can save your time having to drive to the property only to find out that it backs up to a busy street, or you didn't like how the rest of the houses in the area look like.

Loreena, I have been a big fan of Google Maps since it first came out and they keep making it better with the added features. Great illustrations BTW in this post for your buyers.
