Can you tell us what kind of spider this is..

OK.. I was driving & sure enough coming out of my left hand mirror came this beautiful spider. Not sure what kind it is, but I've never seen it before & it was interesting enough for me to write.

He is very strong & can hold on while driving at least 65 mph for a while. Good thing is was a rainy day & all my windows were rolled up because it would've caused an accident if it came close to me with no barriers separating us..

so check it out & help me try to figure out what kind of spider it is.. thx
