OK folks. There is a great devide here on the Rain about car graphics, magnets and wraps for advertising the real estate professional. I have sold two home off a set of $90 car magnets and when I picked up a spare truck to use for putting up signs and general real estate errands...... I broke down and added some graphics. This is not my primary vehicle and I do beleive it will generate some interest.

So..... give me your thoughts. Too much, not enough or aa bad idea??

I think it's like a rolling billboard and basically free advertising. I think it looks good. You just have to make sure to always be a courteous driver! :)

Can't put them on my primary vehicle, mostly because I drive like a total jerk, hahaha.  However I have a another truck and trailer at the sign shop being done right now.  It is one of the cheapest marketing idea ever.

I once tried to convince a brokerage that I was working for to subsidize the purchase or lease of white minivans for all employees if they would logo them up with the company logo.

We were spending 1800 a month on a crappy billboard.  I figured having 9 employees driving similar vans around town would have a bigger impact than the billboard, plus we could give them each $200 towards the payment (not a bad perk for an employee!).

Hi Brad, I love what you have done here. My only hesitation would be , Do your clients now or what you hope to attract identify with a pick up truck? Or might be that any advertsining is better than then the alternative ( none). I have a my web site " The voice of San Diego Real Estate" in raised chrome letters on the trunk lid of my car and that of my associate. I see people pull up and make note. They are the same size , scale and design as that of my car's model that the mfg installed on the back of our cars. Subtle but easy read from the cars that drive behind or that pass by in a parking lot. Nice post.

I too have the website address on the back trunklid face. However, as you're also in property management, I think a pick-up with advertising is a good choice of vehicles for you in a suburban market.

Hi Brad, It looks great and makes a lot of sense given your property management business.  I can't do the same in my market area or my clients would run for the hills.  In fact I drive a Mercedes in order to attract the clientele I want.  It was not my preferred vehicle, but the key is knowing your target market and doing what it takes to attract them.  Yard signs, my community blog, and my 300+ monthly real estate newsletter subscribers are what brings me my business.
