If you have clients looking the time to get it in writing is definitely NOW!!!! Buyers have to CLOSE by Nov 30th, not be under contract, but CLOSE.  With that date coming up, roughly 14 weeks from now, you might want to knock this out early on and not be a part of the last minute insanity.  I am sure there will be disappointed home buyers that don't get closed for one reason or another and this is gonna stink!!!! So, my advice, since we do not have an extension on the Tax Credit right now, is lookie loo, you need to be signing now!!!!

Do you know if the closing get's bumped by the bank to 12/1 can they still get the credit?

Just quoting the actual law, they have to CLOSE by the 30th.  Thus the reason to get the lookie loo's to sign on the dotted line now that it is not an issue!

Another thing to consider, if your client is looking at going RD, they are on a 20 BUSINESS DAY turn time in my area!!!! So those really need to get on paper ASAP and then it will still be cutting it close!!!
