Kathleen Ann, that is a great photo!  Let's hope they're always that close!

Kathleen Ann:  Usually when I see pictures of little boys, I suggest to their Moms that they can be sold on EBay... and usually for a fairly decent price... LOL.  In this case, these two guys are much too good-looking to do that.  What sweet boys.  Are they as nice and friendly as they look ?  Tell us about them...

I really DO NOT want to appear critical here, Kathleen Ann, but when I see such short comments as above... I wonder if the commentor is aware that a comment must be at least TEN words or more to get points credit.  Now, I know points are not the reason we comment... but I figure that as long as we are at it... we might as well make sure we make our comment at least ten words long.  As you can see, I rarely have that problem myself... LOL.

I have learned that if I want my grandchildren to hug each other, I take them to a diner, have them look at the menu for their favorite ice cream, and then tell them I won't get it for them unless they hug each other for my camera. . .LOL

DARCY and TONY: Their father, my first born son, John Michael,  was always close to his little brother,Mark Alan, and I see it happenong 30 years later with Nolan and his little brother, Braydon. My sons always wanted to play together,  never had sibling rivalry except once when Mark was born , but that a story in the making.

Kathleen Ann:  I did NOT mean to be "pushy" or anything... I was just sharing information.  This little ten-word-rule of Active Rain's is just something that somehow we become aware of.  I have mentioned it before in some of my "Newbie" posts as far as getting helping folks get acclimated when they have just joined, and I thought I would just offer it out again... thinking that here were two Rainers... making comments... who might be wondering why their points were not increasing... even though they were making comments.  So... sorry if I came off like a "know-it-all..."  Just another member here... trying to be helpful, is all.  Take care...

KAREN ANNE:  As a proud loving Grandma. they are "SUPER, TERRIFIC FABULOUS BOYS" I was very fortunate at the time of their births to be in Anderson, SC and to spend 2 weeks  to bond with them as their Daddy's Mom and their other Grandmother who lives far away in RI.

DIXIE and DICK:  Your statement is so true I cannot believe they are no longer babies. Nolan is now in kindergarten, a start of an exciting world of education. He is very smart and very inquisitive, I am sure he will become a college graduate like his Mom and Dad. Braydon is three and in pre-school and also a very bright child.

CHARLES: It always saddens me when I see siblings fighting and calling each other names. I am blessed to have raised 2 sons with amazing persnalities and character traits that are being passed on to their children. A child that is raised in a loving nurturing home environment carries these traits throughout their lives to thier loved ones, too.

Here are a couple pictures of my grandson's Daddy, on the left, John Michael, age 5 and their Uncle Mark Alan, age 3. In their early years I would buy matching outfits and they enjoyed dressing alike. Sometimes same outfits but different colors.

KONNIE: In my family and among my friends I am a "hugger" A great form oif communication and the  nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can't give one without getting one. Begin to develop this as a daily  habit and watch your children imitate you. <smile>

Kathleen, they are absolute dolls!  Now, you know I have a lot of sons.  I don't typically see them hugging though unless under the right circumstances.  That is, except for the twins.  They hug all the time.  When I get them out of their cribs in the morning, they hug as though they've been apart forever.  It is so funny!

I thought it was so cute to see the "then and now" photos as well.  Funny how life just keeps repeating itself, isn't it?

RENAE: You will have to take some pictures of your twins hugging, it must be so adorable. I love to see siblings showing affection to each other rather then seeing  them battling.  I love to go back and see photos of my sons and compare them to the sons of my older son at similar ages or events. I have some first day of school but I just have not had the time with business moving.
