Real Estate Agent with Realty One Group Cascadia

Here is the monthly email from my friend Laura Sauermilch informing me of the upcoming green events in and around Vancouver Washington. Please join us. We would love to see you at any of these events!

This month we will meet on Aug 25th, at Lapellah near the new Fred Meyer store off of HWY 14.

As usual intros will start @ 6 PM. We will be outside on the patio on the north side of the building. They have umbrellas for shade, dress accordingly.

This month our 5 min spiel speaker will be Kelley Beamer of Friends of the Columbia Gorge. The basic message will be about her organization and their efforts to protect the scenic, natural, cultural and recreational resources in the Gorge.  Friends leads over 75 public hikes and stewardship events in the Gorge each year and works to ensure the Gorge remains a natural treasure for future generations to enjoy. She'll talk about our upcoming hiking season and what folks can do to get involved.

For our local business showcase, we will have a rep from Lapellah speak about their shade of green which consists of food composting, reclaimed lumber interior, and more.

There is an idea, why don't you host your own green building seminars? I think you would be the perfect person to do it.
