10 Comments on Home Staging Transformations in Orlando #6: The Loft
Nice job! Looks like the maximum amount of return for the least amount of expenditure on the homeowner's part. By removing the clutter, you transformed the space and made it very appealing. The red throw is a good touch.
Laurie, excellent job showing the square footage that they are wanting to sell. Every square foot has value and buyers need to see it. Receptive and inclined sellers are great, aren't they.
I always wondered what happened to all the gnomes that seem to disappear from area gardens!
I love this transformation, Laurie. You did great editing and then arranged what you kept to highlight the spacious yet cozy feel of this space. Nice job leaving the yarn and adding the pop of color in the throw.
Leslie - Thanks! It really was a good investment for the owner. She put in a lot of hard work, but she got a beautiful home to market, and she had all that stuff to sell that her yard sale.
Ginger - It is such a pleasure to work with sellers like her! May we all have more such sellers! Thanks for stopping by.
Mary - Yeah. All the gnomes came to live here, until we chased them out! (There were some by the pool that we didn't quite get to, so they're probably multiplying...) Thanks so much for your comment - I'm glad you enjoyed the changes!
WOW - bet this was a "looming" task to tackle.... hope the thought of Staging didn't "loom" over you at night..... Were the Owners ever "looming" over your shoulder?.... Thank you, thank you: I'll be here all week =D
You did a fantastic job and it was great that the Sellers jumped in as well.
Beautiful room! I love that it shows so much function. I love the loom. It says to me that if I lived there I would be crafty and have time to do artsy things like weave. Very cool. I used to show "loom rooms" all of the time when I did model homes.
Connie - You made me laugh! You made my 12 year old son laugh! And I'm glad you liked the staging!
Allegra - Thanks! It is a beautiful room to be in; it almost feels like a tree house. It had so much interesting stuff to work with, once we got all the extras out. The yarn was wonderful, especially in a home that desperately needed color. And the loom itself added a lot of character. Did you actually use looms in your "loom rooms?"
I love yarn! I sometimes want to buy it and I don't even knit!
Yes, I rented looms from a place called "The Loom Lady" believe it or not. She would set it all up with a beginning weaving on it.
Allegra - That is so cool. I would thing it would really set a model home apart from its competition. And I know what you mean about wanting yarn, though I don't even crochet -- some yarn is just so luscious. This home owner/weaver owned alpaca for a while, and had spinning wheels she used to spin her own yarn. That wasn't the colorful yarn, though, so I'm glad that's not the only wool she used! Thanks for dropping in again!
Not at all, great post!
