Reward offered for O.C.'s longest-term employee
Most workers think five years working for the same company is an accomplishment these days, but one local restaurant is betting there are some really long-term employees out there.
In honor of Labor Day, The Cellar in Fullerton is looking for the worker in Orange County who has worked the longest for one employer. (Self-employed doesn't count.)
The top five contenders will be rewarded with a luncheon Friday, Sept. 4, at the French restaurant. The winner will receive a plaque and dinner for two.

"We wanted to roll in the Labor Day weekend with a nod to the workforce -especially those who have managed to maintain their jobs for a long time," said Ryan Dudley, owner of The Cellar. "In this day and age of job uncertainty, perhaps we'll learn some secrets to preserving job security and even thriving during challenging times."
