This morning, mega-camp begins down here in Austin.
For me, it begins with the PC Mastermind . . . an opportunity for coaches to learn from each other.
We Coaches sure have had their fair share of challenges this year.
When the market gets (and stays) weird, the value of a good coach goes WAY UP and the "bar" for the need of effective coaching rises exponentially.
Everyone needs a great coach to thrive.
My coaching work has actually been more satisfying than ever for the past 12 months.
Why?
Because this market has finally succeeded at separating the wheat from the chafe.
It seems that we have reached the point at which the "non-serious" contenders have bailed out of the game leaving only the MOTIVATED performers standing.
Coaching a MOTIVATED professional is nothing short of FUN because these folks just DO and TRACK results and come back for some tweaking . . . We are seeing some INCREDIBLE results from our coaching these motivated people. Most of them are experiencing phenomenal increases in their transaction volume AND are finding the work more rewarding.
The mechanics of the business have gotten a bit clunky because of the steady flow of new regulations from our Great Uncle Sam (and economic uncertainty), but I believe that overall agent cooperation has improved dramatically.
More deals with more experienced agents = smoother transactions.
The more "at bats" we have, the better we get :-)
But that's not the only part of coaching that's rewarding for me.
It's those folks who have made the decision to leave the business who often have been most appreciative of my consulting because I have helped them understand their true passion (and the simple truth that it is NOT REal Estate Sales).
What's cool about this is that each one of these folks sighs a HUGE sigh of relief when I sign their license release and is appreciative of all of the learnings from their time in this industry.
I always ask what they are going to do now?
More often than not, I hear:
"You know! I've ALWAYS wanted to __________________(get my MBA, be a artist, play my music) . . . I think I'm going to do that for a while and see where it leads me."
This is LIBERATION for these folks to be themselves and to follow their passion.
I Believe what their real estate sales career and the Millionaire Real Estate Agent model and my coaching have all properly equipped them for is whatever is next.
This experience has awakened the true passion within these people and instilled an element of entrepreneurial bravado in them that was likely suppressed til now by lack of confidence for years.
When you learn the art of taking RESPONSIBILITY (and thereby appropriate ACTION), and your purpose is clearly focused on something for which you have great passion . . .
You are truly on the path to making a significant difference in the lives of the people who are fortunate enough to cross your path.
Hmmm . . . the Lessons we learn . . . Simply FANTASTIC!
