Take The High Road To The Top Of Google- SEO TO THE TOP SERIES- Part 3

Now you know:

  • Who your audience is
  • What your buyer and seller personas are
  • How to do you keyword research
  • What your long tail and short tail keywords are to blog with
  • How to seek new niches through the use of Google Insights

That is a lot! WOW! I did not even realize how much we covered in just a few posts.

So now let's work on getting your posts outlined for the best chance of getting it to show up at the top of the search for those keywords.

Choose a set of keywords for your post:

  • The title of the post needs to be those exact keywords, no deviations.
  • Never use commas with a keyword phrase- use hyphens.
  • Repeat the title of the post in the first line of your post exactly the same way.
  • Repeat the keywords exactly as written in your title about one time each paragraph as a rule of thumb. (Based on 300 to 500 word count)
  • Use variations of that keyword phrase but make sure they are related to the keywords in the title.
  • Google will pull on the variations. Variations are a good thing, opposites are not and either are totally different non related terms as Google would understand it to be.

For instance- If you are writing a post using the keywords, "Florida Short Sales" then you would not want to also try to rank for the keywords, "luxury homes for sale" within the same post. I am not saying you can't mix it up but the more content precise to the keywords you are, the more relevant the search bots will think you are.

Always, end your post with the same exact words in the title of your post, your keywords.
The easiest way to do this without sounding stupid or repetative is to end your post with your copyright notice or your creative commons license. I will do it at the end of this post to give you the wording you can use if you are doing the copyright notice.

I can show you more of what I am talking about in my webinar in a visual presentation.
