OK, Rosalinda.  I'm a sucker for a garden and a gazebo.  This has both.  Too cool!

Rosalinda,

This is a great looking formal garden. Looks well designed. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Heather - I'm with you.  I do love garden and gazebo also.  This garden used to be a private garden and now open to the public.

Steve - This is just the perennial garden.  There are various gardens in the property all well designed by famous landscape architects during the Gold Coast era (The Great Gatsby era).  Money no object.  It's now tended by several gardeners and volunteers.

OLD WESTBURY GARDEN - LONG ISLAND GEM OF A PLACE* This place is awesome!  they have a huge selection of planter ideas there. I found a planter in a catalog that can be mounted on a wall, and it has a way of keeping the dirt in and the water flows down through it - not to expensive and I really want to try it out!  I think this guy's work is amazing!   Garden Design magazine did a layout last fall and it was beautiful... My vision is to buy an office building for our company and have the front entrance covered with a planted wall!  Great blog!

David - Thanks for dropping by.  Old Westbury Garden is truly a magnificent place - the mansion, the garden and all the events that are happening there.  I always enjoyed my visits there.
