All good advice and some of these were actually handed down by my children's teachers. Now if I can get the motor mouth of the family to be quiet in class!
This actually would be a pretty useful list of suggestions for adults as well!
I agree with the comment above. It is good for adults too. As I am splitting wood for this up coming cool season I split the hardest pieces first. So I guess your post is relavent for all types of work
Edward, great tips for all of us to follow. Take a break, that is essential to be able to rethink a problem. Thanks for stating the obvious that we all tend to forget.
How about that--someone who thinks just like me. Keep it going.

Laura, I was the motormouth in my day
Brian, you had to let the cat out of the bag didn't you?
Charlie, I have not split wood in a long long time...kinda miss it that is for sure
Gail, Shelton, nice to see you guys this morning...have a good day!
My inspiration for doing my homework was the look and the feel of my father's hand if I came home with a bad grade or worse negative comments on my behavior. None of which can be applied in today's society for fear of being arrested. All of this made me what I are today!
Ed...I know EXACTLY what you mean about the "hand of correction" seems like you excelled in all but english...what I are....lol!!! It is a good thing my kids are gone or I might be in jail.
