What Could Be Sweeter?

Nothing could be sweeter on a rainy Thursday in Murphy, NC
than a trip through the drive up window at The Sweet Tooth!

We don't have much more time to enjoy our childhood favorites of banana splits, dipped cones, milkshakes and hot brownie pie. Come around Labor Day the Sweet Tooth will close for the season so you better make sure to stop in soon next time you're in town. I'm glad I did today!

I'd go just for the name alone, Lee & Carol.  But, a soft serve cone on a rainy day?  Cool!

These are the best! I can only handle the medium size cone - especially while I'm driving back t work :)

Ohhh, yummy.  That ice cream looks divine.  I love chocolate and vanilla swirled together like that.  Yum.

It's great to see you take the time out of your busy schedule to enjoy life and
make it sweeter for yourself.  I just told someone about balancing your life.
There is nothing wrong about working hard as long as you play hard.  And
enjoying a cone of ice cream and is great.  The photos of your area are also
absolutely beautiful.  Enjoy every day as if it is your last day.  Eat some ice
cream for all of us.

Bob & Carolin - It is such a great place and I miss it after Labor Day.

Bob - No posing - that's just the way everyone smiles in Murphy :)

June - It's my all time favorite too. Well, banana splits too, but they're too hard to drive and eat.

Dagmar - Sweet words to live by!

Thank you all for stopping by and sharing my day with me.

I love Fall, it's my favorite time of year, but I hate to see Summer end...and the treats like this that go with it.

Yep, it's a sure sign here in Murphy when school starts back and the Sweet Tooth closes that Fall is right around the corner. I'm with you too, love the weather, but hate to lose the cool treats. Maybe we both should go have another ice cream today :)

Lee & Carol--M-m-m I am ready to drive down for a black raspberry cone.  Make a large!   A few weeks ago we drove to the lake to watch the sunset then diverted to the ice cream stand. I think it is time to make a return visit.  Bye.

Black Raspberry sounds wonderful and the perfect way to end your day by the lake.
