Is Your Real Estate Agent Doing Everything Possible To Sell Your House?

By
Real Estate Agent with AgentHarvest - A Real Estate Agent Finder Service

Agent who could care lessImagine this scenario.  It’s been 120 days since your agent put a for sale sign in your yard.  On the day you hired your Realtor, she promised it would be a successful working relationship.   Weeks later, this “relationship” somehow turned into a “one-night stand.”   She doesn’t return your phone calls, she never drops by and now there’s a bird’s nest occupying the empty Info Box that use to hold your house’s brochures so many months ago.

In this situation, do you think your real estate agent is doing everything possible to sell your house?  Of course not.  This agent is certainly not worth their commission.

Work of fiction?  No.  There really are agents like this.   Lots of them.  Many homeowners find themselves in this type of situation everyday because they hired the wrong agent.   Not to worry, there are good real estate agents out there too.  However, it’s hard to tell the difference between a top producing agent and a non-producing agent without being able to look at their track records and sales histories.  With a top producing successful real estate agent, you can expect the following level of service.

How We Define the Best Available Agent

Sold Houses In Your Area

Our agent search analyzes all sales activity in a 5-mile radius around your house to find real estate agents that have recently sold real estate in your area. For buyer's agents, we search desired areas you request to find agents that helped clients recently buy houses in that area.

Currently Servicing Your Area

Our study includes recent data from the past three months in hot real estate market areas to six months of sales activity in slower real estate market areas. We reserve the right to determine which timespan works best given the specific area and volume of data needed to produce the desired results.

Sell Houses Similar To Yours

We look at sold houses that compare to yours in square footage. It's important to find an agent that has successfully marketed your size house and know how to sell it. With different sized houses comes different sales and marketing strategies. The key to success is using the right strategy. For buyers, we also want to find agents that helped buyers buy houses similar in size to your ideal target home.

Prompt Communications

The best agent in the world is useless if you can't get ahold of him/her. We only contact agents that meet all of the above criteria, but we favor agents that contact us quickly. We know you do too.

Disclaimer

Remember, we select agents based on MLS statistics and their published track record in MLS. We do not recommend, endorse, promote, guarantee or certify any agent we send you. You are responsible for evaluating their performance and abilities, and chosing which agent to hire. We do not evaluate or prescreen agents. Also, you are not required to hire any agent we send you and you may ask for a list of additional agents if you are unhappy with the agents we send you.

I hope that helps answer your questions.  For more info, please look at our FAQ page on our website.
