Well I don't know about everyone else but I think I will spend a part of my evening watching the start of this years Baseball Playoff's.  Those of you who are baseball fans like me look forward to this time of the year.  It has been a long season, and this is the reward for the teams and their fans that made it into the playoffs.  The season has been full of surprises so far, with Detroit looking like they were going to run away with everything, to just barely making it in.

My team is the Yankees, and I am hoping that they make it NUMBER 27!!

I'm a Lifetime Yankeee fan! Grew up in Queens, the home of the Mets but always loved the Yanks.

  • World Series: 26 Championships
  • Postseason: 130 wins 88 losses

Go Yanks!

Geez you Yankees fans.............how tough is it to be a Yankees fan? I will wish you good luck because with the pitching staff you have you're going to need it.

Try being a Mariners fan.......we had a decent run for a few years and of course you all ripped our hearts out after we set the record for most wins in a season.

I don't know if other fans tell Yankees fans this, but no other fans like Yankee fans. It's too easy to be a Yankees fan. Of course you did have the 80's (wow, ten or 15 years with no championships, must have been rough) All of the rest of us celebrate making the playoffs and you Yankees fans only celebrate championships..........man I wish one of my teams would win something.......haha...

I can't say I am sorry Brio for the number that the Yankees on your team.  It is hard to feel sorry for beating a team that had Griffey, A-Rod, Johnson, (2) Martinez's, and Nelson in their prime.

By the way it was tougher being a Yankee fan in the late 60's when the Red Sox were winning and we couldn't even get out of our own way.

However, the Mariners were a hard team to dislike, even when they had my man Lou for a manager.

I wish we had Griffey, A-rod, or Randy on the 116 win team. Take a look back, we didn't have ANY of those three on that team. Of course we had our favorite ex-yankee, Jay Buhner, and he only hit 2 HR's that year. That reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Frank Costanza gives it to Steinbrenner for trading Buhner..hahah. Nelson did pitch for us and was really good that year. How pathetic for us, one good year to remember.

When we had Griffey, A-Rod (in his first or second year, not his prime) and Randy in 1995 we beat you guys in the first round on a hit by Edgar in the 9th or 10th inning of the final game, then ran into one of the best Cleveland teams ever.

I will agree with you on Lou.........everyone loves that guy.

One thing I think we both can agree on Brio, it looks like we both love the game of baseball, and the test of a true fan is to stick by your team when they are down.
