Isn't that an oxymoron.  Here is a local newspaper that has been in all the luxury hotels for almost 60 years, and a fixture in the Boca community for that same time.  We have relied on our news for so long, and it is such ashame that the downward trend of the economy has forced the Boca News to go digital at www.BocaNews.com.  They call it the interactive newspaper, but I still like to read my newspaper.  I still like to feel the paper rather than look online and read.  It is much nicer to drink a cup of coffee while reading the Sunday paper then going online to look at a computer screen.  I want my Boca News back.

It is most unfortunate that our newspapers appear to be on the verge of becoming a thing of the past.  I agree with you that the computer will never take the place of our newspaper wirh a cup of coffee on Sunday morning.

Betty, thank you for your comment.  I guess we are traditionalists and I never thought that newspaper would be a thing of the past.  A Nostalgia if you will.  Anyway, guess times are changing.  I am not sure if it is for the good or the bad.  They say everything is becoming more efficient.  I am not sure that is the case. Maybe we will all be replaced by robots.

It's just not the same reading the news on the computer moniter.  I would miss the ink on my fingertips, and a fresh cup of coffee in hand! :)

So sad to see that the traditional print newspaper would be repalced by a computer. What next the computer to read out news.

We would not be able to sit down with a bagel and a cuppa anymore.
