Blakeney Greens is a traditional neighborhood design located in Crosland's mixed-use community of Blakeney. Blakeney Greens was the first neighborhood in the northeast part of the development with 364 homes and townhomes built by Saussy Burbank and Ryan Homes. This south Charlotte neighborhood has amenities ranging from beautiful landscaped neighborhood common areas, to a swim club to greenway trails.
The Blakeney community is located on all four quadrants of the intersection of Rea Road and Ardrey Kell Road, just two miles from a I-485 interchange. Blakeney offers a place to live where retail, offices, services and recreation are all within reach. This 270-acre multi-use development includes single-family attached and detached homes, apartment homes, retail, commercial, and office development. 
Forty-five acres have been preserved for greenways and wetlands along the Flat Branch Creek. A 2-acre community green, Blakeney Park, offers walking trails to the village shops in the retail center as well as play areas for children and sitting areas.
The shopping area of Blakeney encompasses 495,000 square feet of retail space including the neighborhood shops and the anchor row. The neighborhood shops offer a plaza area with a fountain and open areas that attract outdoor dining and entertainment.
Blakeney Professional Center, located in the southwest quadrant, offers approximately 220,000 square feet of office space. Kids R' Kids, a child learning development center, as well as, several surgeons, dentist, orthodontists, eye physicians, and internal medicine among many others are located at the professional center.
