Yes, I've finally said it!  I Have A Dream!  It is really a goal I have set for myself.  It is a big one and I dared not even think about it a week ago, but then I began to allow it to slip into my thinking a little bit each day.  I wrestled with it back and forth.  I told myself I couldn't have it.  I told myself all the reasons why.  I told myself to move on and think about something else.

Then day before yesterday, I told myself, "If I really want it, Think about it all the time."  Tell others you want this and let them begin to pray with you for it.  "Envision it being yours," I said to myself.

So, now I am claiming it and one day it will be mine.  Sooner rather than later I hope.

How many dreams do we let go by the wayside?  If you want something, be brave enough to say so and then go after it.  Make a plan to achieve your goals and follow through with the action needed to make it happen.  It is easier than we think.  Three little words with a big impact:   

DREAM                                                                                                         higher road                                 

PLAN

TAKE ACTION

When we practice these 3 little words, our dreams can come true.  I'm a believer in this.  What dream will you make come true this week? or this month? Think about it and share if you want to.

Ricki- very simply and well said. We tell our clients this but we need to live it ourselves. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day minutia of our lives. We sometimes forget to dream... we forget what we are working towards. A little reflection always helps...thanks for the reminder.

This is good advice. It's alot easier to achieve the dream if you have a plan. Sometimes, the dream is so big that it seems unreachable but if you have a plan with smaller, reachable goals, you see yourself making progress toward it and the satisfaction engenders the motivation to make more progress.

Hi Ricki... I think that many of us get hung up on the "Action" part of this.  Many people dream and plan and fail to follow though with the action... and that is when dreams die.  Go for you for making sure that your dream does not die due to lack of effort!

Ceil says she had a dream the other night that I retired and we could just take off in the RV, no telephones, no computers, just listen to Willie Nelson singing On The Road Again. Oh will that day ever come?

Sounds like a nice dream.  Hope y'all get to try it soon.  My dream is gonna be a while in coming. I have had some good things happen this week but not what I really had in mind but probably will be better in the long run. I am a patient person so waiting doesn't kill me.  I just try to use the time as wisely as I can and proceed one step at a time.  Thanks for thinking about me.

Actually, the sitting spell may be longer than previously anticipated.  Another opportunity came along and I'm going in that direction for the moment but the dream is still on the table but may be a while longer than I thought.  Was told today, parties involved can wait a year.
