Titan, a Great Dane from North Park, right here in San Diego, California, is poised to ascend to the throne as the world's tallest dog, measuring in at 42.375 inches during a "dry run" a week ago. With a name like Titan, it's obvious he's a natural.

Most Mission Valley condos will allow you to have a pet, sometimes two, but there are size restrictions, and a dog that is tall enough to safely ride Splash Mountain at Disneyland is probably too big for your condominium under its covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&R's).

I sense a theme, here - you must be a cat person.  :-)  Cute photos.

Splash Mountain at Disney.  Too funny Jim.  My husband wants a Dane.  I have no objection other than when it gets old and frail, which one of us old and frail people is going to help it in and out of our bed? :-)

Hey, Mike - My mom and I both have always been cat people, but I could do a dog, too, as long as it was a small one. The monster ones are nice, but I don't think I could handle one that is taller than me or weighs more than me.

Hey, Terry - That's what I call planning ahead - LOL.

Hey, Dan - I still look at the picture and wonder how that woman keeps up with that dog.

Hey, Carole - I think the food bill might be of concern to me. When a pet eats more than I do, it might be time for a different pet - LOL.

Hey, Jim - Zoey the Cool Cat has no interest in dogs. Now those birds on the patio, the occasional lizard that gets into the house, and the garbage truck that goes by every Tuesday morning, totally different story.

I would not be surprised if someone had a Great Dane in a condo.  That's amazing he almost looks like there is something abnormal because his legs are soooo long!!!

Wow that dog is huge.  I actually saw someone on the street several weeks ago with a dog that size.  Hhmmmm I wonder now if her dog was as big.
