Georgina-He is really huge even though everyone was guessing squirrels, he is way bigger than a squirrel. He is scary big for a woodchuck.
I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't pointed it out! I have never seen a woodchuck or a ground hog. Out west we have droves of prairie dogs and marmots! thanks for stopping by my blog, and being my Facebook friend. Good times!
Debra, LOL, took me quite a while to see him. My daughter has a big fat one living under her deck. He gets all the food that falls, and he is FAT.
I probably would not have even noticed unless I was looking when he moved. Good eye, Debra and fun photo.
I thought it was a beaver but the tail didn't look big enough. At least I got the woodchucking part right -- LOL

Hi Debra -- a Nutria is very similiar to a Beaver, but doesn't have the distinctive tail. Yeah, that's the only way I can remember the name of that critter -- the "skin care" sounds like! LOL
I never knew they existed either, until I moved to the Great Pacific NW . . .
