Places to eat, stay, boat and kick back in Fort Myers Beach

Heavenly Biscuit off Estero Blvd is always a fun lay back small restaurant to enjoy the local flavor of Fort Myers Beach. Its located just at the start of mango Street. I recommend its sticky buns, salmon, fruit and eggs brunch breakfast. Just a great place to mix it up with the local residents or enjoy

the local paper and stay away from your lap top!

Just a few steps away is the very recent Mango Street Inn.It offers cooking classes, wine tasting, is a green Inn and you may stay there one week, one day or one month. I have  seen the rooms and let me tell you : you will not be disappointed. Very close to the beach.Oh yes its pet friendly up to 20 lbs.

Mango Street Inn  You will enjoy interacting with owners Dan and Tree Andre. They will make you feel right at home. Great place for reunions, family gathering, weddings or culinary escapade or just enjoying a break from the fast lane.

Wine tasting and cooking classes?  Sounds like fun. If you weren't all the way on the other side of the country I'd be tempted to check it out! Thanks for reminding me that localism posts don't have to be super long to be informative and useful.

Hi Lloyd,

Fort Myers Beach looks adorable.  I would definately visit these places if were in the area.  Looks like a great place to live:)

Jenny of Silver Lake: Thank you.It does sound fun to be able to bike around, swim, boat... and then taste some wine and sharpen your cooking skills. I feel the same way about CAL...Hopefully we will get our own Concorde one day and zoom to both coasts in no time.
