In the retail business, Christmas is not only a special time of year because of Christ's birth. Christmas is also the most profitable time of year.
In real estate, summertime is our Christmas. More realtors make a majority of our money over the summer. So I always find it valuable to review summertime sales by neighborhood.
Between June and August, 40 homes have closed. The average home was only on the market for 54 days and sold $326,000 or about $102 per square foot. The average home was 3187 square foot.
Home sold from about $180,000 to almost $725,000. Seven Meadows continues to hold values and thrive despite the tough national economy.
