Valle di Oro in Santa Clarita Opening!

It's about time. It's overpriced, but it's about time. This highly anticipated townhome community has finally annoucned their first grand opening, or as they call it, previewing event.

This event will take place Saturday June 16th. The Valle di Oro community is located off of Sierra highway just east of the Golden Valley Rd intersection.

The community itself is interesting on many levels. Some of the main highlights are that its has gated access at the entry, and the floor plans itself are ENORMOUS compared to other townhome living options in Santa Clarita. Where many people will opt-out, will of course be over the price. Pricing is anticipated to start in the mid $500,000 range. And thats just for starters, I can't wait to see the rest of the price sheet once available. Homebuyers can easily find a single family detached residence in MOST parts of the Santa Clarita real estate market for the mid $500,000 price range. They may not find the type of square footage these townhomes offer, but they will sure find a single family home, with a nice backyard, and no shared walls - something people really look forward to on the average.

The amenities, size of these homes, and lifestyle a gated community offers may indeed trump the price and bring in ready willing and able buyers. Time shall tell. My bet is on price reductions, especially as the bulk of their sales will obviously be towards the dead of fall and winter - meaning the buying seasin will have passed. I don't think they expect to sell out in the remainig 2 months of summer!

What happened to the trimark pacific valle di oro community?  They stopped building???!!!  They are also not selling the townhomes that they do have built?  What's up with this?
