This is an unofficial name for this great spot I take my kids to run wild.  I've never known it to have a name and can't find a website for it, but it is located near the Spencer Fairgrounds, and more specifically, on the corner of Meadow Road and Smithville Road very close to Routes 9 and 31.  If the weather is good, this the place to be with young children, perfect for ages 2-10.  The playground is separated into two parts, one area built for bigger kids with large swings, dinosaurs you can climb on and a large fort with slides and the other half is built for smaller children featuring baby swings, little bouncy rides and a small fort with a smaller slide.  There are picnic tables around the playground and a good balance of sun and shade.  The entire playground is fenced in so you don't have to worry about your little one getting away.  I love to bring my 4 to this playground, we've been driving out there for a few years ever since we came across it just driving around the area.  Pack a picnic and call your mom friends!  This is a great place to catch up and enjoy some fresh air.

Nothing like your local playground to let your kids run wild under your supervision.

Hi Russ!  They're great!  I need to find some more in the area to share with new moms in the area that may not be aware of them.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Kathleen
