Controlling costs is very important.  It starts with a budget which is should be a well thought out plan of where you expect to be and what your spending priorities are.

It is necessary to have a plan in place to be able to really control expenditures.  A budget serves as a very useful tool for planning purposes and gives individuals and businesses a way to control and monitor costs and expenditures.

lou, well said.  I was quoted $175 yesterday for a local office store to fax a 90 page fax and scan it to me...yikes!  I did it at home instead for free although it took awhile....

Hi Lou, Oh, Thomas Alva Edison, one of the greatest inventors of all time. We have visited the Edison House in Ft. Meyers Florida several times. I love it there! The grounds are beautiful and it is so interesting. He and Henry Ford were neighbors and best of friends and worked together for years. So much history there.

Lou,

We are finding out about this in a big way as our government attempts to spend us out of existence. :)
