Emotional Times...The First Day of Kindergarten!

By
Real Estate Agent with Kathleen Cooper, Sposato Realty Group 9084437/Brokers

My oldest child, James Jr., started his first day of Kindergarten today at Brookfield Elementary School.  He was very excited to get to ride the school bus, he was actually upset with me on his first day of pre-school last year when he found out I'd have to drive him!  I didn't think I would be emotional today, but I was a very mushy mom when I saw him get on that school bus and drive away for his first day of school.  My baby is growing up!  To see more great pictures of him getting ready for his big day, check out his Kindergarten album on Facebook:  http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=36223&id=1318194637&l=2abb0923fb

Thanks for sharing this magic moment with us. He is on a course for destiny. My son went to kindergarten last year. He will be eight this year. Enjoy the time because we only have them on loan until they reach adulthood.

LOL  That's the truth!  He was so excited to go and he's already so independent.  I can't imagine what I'm going to feel like when my last baby goes!

Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Kathleen

I can tell you! Relief! It gets easier when you have a big family; they go together and they are back home before you know it. It will give you more time to do some of the things you now have to steal time to accomplish, like take a shower! lol You manage so well with all of them, imagine what a power house you will be with real quiet time 5 days a week! Super Mom, Super Wife, Super Broker... and a Super Daughter!

You are amazing and you make me oh so proud! I love you!

Kathleen...I drove my son to school today, this is one of the few times I have a capture audience with him. He'll be taking Driver Education stating in November...so soon enough I'll be watching him back out of the driveway on his own. Enjoy these days together ,it seams like yesterday we were waiting for the bus. Now we talk about advanced Chemistry, Honors calculus and the cost of going to MIT.

You wouldn't be a mom if you didn't get mushy on such a big day in your son's life.  I cried on my daughter's first day of school.  Then again when we dropped her off in college, and again when we dropped her off at the airport headed to Bible College in Germany.

Thanks everyone!  I'm so excited waiting for him to come home and tell me all about his big day!  It's been quiet around here, even with just one of the four in school!

Sincerely,

Kathleen
