Gmail - How to Create Canned Responses and HTML Email Stationery

Services for Real Estate Pros with Christine Wade DRE# 01442002

Hello again, everyone.  I am back today with my 3rd video tutorial in my Gmail series that I have uploaded to YouTube.  This one teaches us how to create canned responses in text based email messages as well as how to create pretty html stationery, which could also be used as canned responses for certain things, or just for your basic everyday messages...your options are pretty limitless once you learn the basics.

Note:  To do this, you will need to remember three keystroke commands.  I say them in the video, but want to type them out so you can see them visually as well.

  1. Select AllCtrl + A (PC) or Command + A (MAC)
  2. Copy: Ctrl + C (PC) or Command + C (MAC)
  3. PasteCtrl + V (PC) or Command + V (MAC)

The embedded video is fairly small...and since you need to read what's on my screen, it might be easier for you to click through and watch it directly at YouTube.

Great lessons on Gmail. I find that it is one of the best services to use. It is very flexable. I now combine that with my Google Voice.

Nicholas - Thank you!  I know, I love Gmail and the more I use it and think of things about Outlook that I used to miss...if I dig deep enough, I can usually find a way to do them in Gmail as well now.  If you haven't looked at Gmail as a possible email client for awhile, it's worth another look!

Erik - Thank you for stopping by and bookmarking it!  Also thank you for the kind email letting me know of my typo - it has now been fixed!!!

I'm not getting audio, not even when I click the link to You Tube.  And yes, my speakers are on.

Sandra - That's odd...I just tried it again on two computers and the audio worked fine.  Perhaps try it again and it will work since your machine has most likely been rebooted in between???  Let me know :-)
