Looking for some great local ski action in Central Mass?  Check out Wachusett Mountain in Princeton!  They are starting up the Fall festivities with a huge clearance sale starting this Friday through Labor Day weekend. Wachusett Mountain features 22 trails with 110 skiable acres for all ski levels.  The longest trail is 1.5 miles.  The ski-lift has the ability to bring more than 9,200 skiers up per hour, including the only 2 high speed quad chair lifts in the state.

Some fun facts about Wachusett Mountain:

  • Highest Mountain in MA East of the CT River
  • 360 - Panoramic Views From Summit - includes views of Boston Skyline
  • Wachusett is the Algonquin Indian Word for "The Great Hill"
  • Wachusett has the #1 NASTAR program in New England and top 10 in the US - NASTAR is the world's largest recreational ski racing program

You can enjoy demos of the newest equipment and technology for skiing, grab a bite to eat in the restaurant, lounge or cafeteria or spend the weekend in the Inn & Conference Center.  This is a great place to check out if you're looking for something fun to do in the winter months or if you're a fan of skiing and snowboarding.  Check it out!

I haven't been there since the year before you were born! That was my one and only opportunity to ski and then four babies later I guess I just got too busy! Maybe this winter I'll try it again!

I've only been once when I was 16 turning 17 I think, but I hated it.  I couldn't ski to save my life!  Maybe I'll have to try snowboarding instead someday.

Sincerely,

Kathleen
