How important is a vacation to you?

Surveys show that vacation is more important for younger generations.

Below is the percentage, by age, who said "taking a vacation is very important"...

Age 18-34 -- 74%

Age 35-54 -- 66%

55 and older -- 61%

I wonder if this is an age related phenomenon or if it has to do with this generation of young people. It seems to me the 35-54 age group would have more money for a vacation and need it more as a stress reliever.

Would you consider taking vacation to be not important, somewhat important, or very important? Share your thoughts.

Hi Michael!  I think vacations are very important to recharge and refresh - but I like to take mine in short spurts - Thursday thru Monday - and then I'm ready to get rolling with work again.  And I like to take them 4-5 times a year at least.
