how close to the beach is this house?

what town specifically is this home in?

I was born and lived in Rumson most of my life, so I know the area pretty well.

Hi Laura,

I'm so sorry I didn't see your note before today, I usually get notification of comments.  The cottage is in the West End section of Long Branch.  It is less than 100 steps across Ocean Avenue to the beach access path next to Beachside Manor.  If you were coming down Ocean Ave from Sea Bright, you'd pass the Windmill on your right at Brighton Avenue, West End Court is the next street past Brighton. You can probably picture that since you know the area. 

Here are two photos of the West End beach there, the first, from a Winslow Homer painting by that title, the second is a current photo from the same spot, showing the beach a bit wider.  Thanks again for your note.
