I was disappointed when one of my agents did a closing with Tina Kang at Title One.

Why?

Well this might sound silly to some (and apparently to her), they wanted to charge a $25 wire fee to send over the commission. Not only has no other title company in the Virginia area charged this, it isn't "green." Isn't that the theme nowadays? Save a tree, and go wireless? 

They claim that they are charged a $25 fee per wire. I will remove this public google feed post if they show me that fee. Other title companies have told me that their wires are free since their escrow accounts are not allowed to have interest and the banks give them the free wires as a "thank you."

So I made my request. Tina laughed. She thought it was funny. Not a good way to treat a recent client.

I didn't think charging bogus fees was funny. I suggest their clients look VERY carefully are their HUD1s to make sure there aren't any other bogus fees. 

Ultimately she agreed to wire me the $25 balance. Oh, and without charging $25 for that wire.
