Take Your Video and STICK IT! - (In the Right Place)

By now, many of you know how to add video and slide shows in your ActiveRain posts. However, I see many of my fellow Active Rainers take your videos and slide shows and stick it in the wrong place in your postings. We all want to optimize our blogs for maximum Google Juice - Right? As the first posting in a series of videos I will be doing entitled "Building a Better Blog" This short 59 second video will tell you the wheres and whys.

Now that I have showed you the "Errors of your ways", now, Take your video and STICK IT! - (In the Right Place) naturally...

Michael, I didn't know that at all. Had just done a listing post with video at the end on the home,BUT then I went on to write about the community and links and I then embedded a video on the community. Guess I blew the last half of the post. Need to rethink how I can do this. Thanks so much for the info.

Video is an area I have yet to enter here in the rain.

Great job on the video and thanks for the tips. I havent added a video to any of my blogs yet, but perhaps I'll get up the nerve to do it eventually. Thanks again.

I apparently have naturally wanted to put it in the bottom. Or maybe it's because I have seen others do that. It just makes sense to me though even just for the flow of the post. ~Rita
