Another featured website...another foray into the realm in which content is king.
The more real estate websites I review, the more I am reminded of the importance of information-rich content.
The good news is that most real estate websites do in fact offer lots of good information.
In many cases they offer too much, based on the premise that if information is good...more is better.
There is however some bad news.
Badly Organized Piles Of Information
In most cases, the information is organized very badly on agents' websites.
It's more like a dumping of information, much as you would dump piles of top soil as part of developing a lawn.
However, when developing a lawn, the piles are smoothed out, giving way to reasonably level, easily navigable area.
On websites, piles of information are simply left wherever they are dumped, leaving visitors to navigate their own way, searching for useful information.
A Website Distinguished From The Others
Distinguishing itself from other real estate websites, Anna 'Banana' Kruchten's web site provides a huge amount of information AND is well organized.
It's like a neighborhood branch of the public library...welcoming and very user-friendly.
Like the library's signs and catalog, the site's navigation tools guide readers to the specific information they are seeking.
Easy Access
Good libraries seldom leave piles of unsorted books, magazines and other material scattered around, requiring patrons find things on their own.
All resources are categorized, cataloged and put away.
This approach makes it easy for patrons to access specific resources. Similarly, Anna's site offers interesting and useful information, easily accessible by visitors.
If the information on your website is not as well organized as the information on Anna's site, it should be.

Thanks, Larry. Good post. This makes me want to look at my website with critical eyes.
