Today I sharpened my pencil and did some number crunching on current market conditions in Arlington. Although there are some real estate markets that have felt a major impact from the current recession, Arlington Massachusetts isn’t one of them.

Deb...I'm very happy to read the Massachusetts Market is improving, I have been in the resort business in New Hampshire and our property sales are affected by your market in such a way that one can predict with reasonable certainty that The White Mountain Resort sales lag 6 -9 month behind your improving market conditions (or failing conditions as well).

Arlington is a lovely town. I have sold a number of properties there in the past. I was not aware that prices have gone up. It's good to hear.
Hi Steve - you live and work in a beautiful area! What's interesting around here is that some markets are doing well . . . Arlington, Somerville, Medford, while some like Everett are still hurting. Hopefully our upswing will soon head your way!
