I just got back from a RW Georgia Broker's Round Table in ATL and I must admit, I'm surprised that more Broker's aren't taking advantage of this great opportunity. I hope that when the next one rolls around more of our GA Broker's will attend.
It's a great place for us to share ideas about our office environments, recruiting, and concerns that we can't share with our agents.
I'd love to know if other groups are doing anything similar, how you structure your Round Tables, etc.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month, but won't meet again until the Fall. I'll let you know when.

I was a member of a group that would go to Germany in March every year for a PCS Fair. We had about 10 broker's from around the US that would go. My contact was out of TX. There was a couple from Columbus that went with the group, but they're not REALTY WORLD.
I'm right here at Ft. Gordon (Augusta) and would love to be part of this group that you're forming. I don't think Warner Robbins has signed up yet, but Frederick may be talking to someone down there. (I'll let him know about the golf!)
Let me know what your planning or thinking about doing. I'd love to help and be involved. We don't do enough with our military here except in property management. We are missing the mark with relocation.

Debby usually sets the agenda to a degree. Other than war stories we share marketing and recruiting ideas as well as general business ideas. If anyone has been to a really good seminar or read a good book we share what we learned or how to find it.
Training information that we take back to our offices is also on the list. There really is no subject that is off limits.
We decided to do this last Fall after we had the Grand Opening in LaGrange. We've taken the summer off, but plan to get started up again in October.
I don't see any reason we can't get a discussion going with other brokers. We could do that through the Realty World Brokers Group. The key would be to get the word out to other brokers. As you can see here and in the previously mention group, there aren't a lot of us out here.
Hi Y'all !! I can say that since I'm from Virginia. haha. I still get the occasional "raised eyebrow" when I use the y'all word here in the Pacific Northwest. Anywhoo.... I joined the group !!!! Thanks, Bonnie !! And, by all means, let's see if we can't get an online Roundtable going for ALL Realty World Brokers. What a Great Idea !!
